Pentreffest is an innovative, voluntary organisation which aims to encourage the development of traditional social dance events as a means of increasing a sense of community.
The emphasis of events will be on opportunity, inclusion, participation and fun. Everyone, regardless of age or ability, is encouraged to “have a go”.
Pentreffest and this website is primarily for the benefit of our most valuable asset - you - our loyal dancers and musicians.
So please let us know what you think - what would you like to see? Do you have an idea for an event you might like us to organise? Or that you might like to organise...?
Website updated to Joomla 3 - with new look and feel.
The normal venue for PentreffestNoz is
St Fagans Village Hall
For more information see directions (with maps).
The An Dro or En Dro (Breton "The Turn") is a Breton folk dance in 4 time. The dancers link little fingers in a long line, moving their arms in a curling motion while moving to the left.
